It was light, airy, cool, very pretty and well situated. The staff could not have been more attentive or helpful. Didn't try the restaurant for other than breakfast which was good if a little pricey. Our perception of value was distorted by level of gbp to Euro. |

The pool area was beautiful, the food is excellent, the location was good. When I had an issue, management was excellent at resolving the issue. The bathroom amenities (shampoo, body lotion, etc.) were an extremely high quality. The attitude of a number of the front desk staff was poor. I also found it expensive for what the quality of the room. |

When we arrived, having booked a superior double, we were disappointed to be woken by builders noise & the use of a generator at 8am. We asked to be moved, no apology was made, and the room we were moved to was inferior. Also, it transpired that the work being done, was actually being done by the hotel. You would think that they would have more consideration for their guests. Very disappointing on the customer service level. |

- staff not able to help, the one person at the front was always overwhelmed by phone calls, directing other staff, and dealing with lines of guests in front of him/her. - I've stayed at many hotels in Europe, this one is way over priced for what you get - more in line with a three star hotel |

Traditional style hotel The staff were generally sultry and unhelpful.The hotel was having maintenance work carried out and no warning was given, when we complained we were hardly acknowledged. Some rooms were very noisy particularly no.41 where the dustbins outside in the courtyard below are emptied at 12pm at night! |
