This partly refurbished Victorian hotel offers great-value rates in central London, just 5 minutes’ walk from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens; an ideal place to experience the capital.

Today’s traveller quite rightly expects the highest standards of quality, comfort and value, and at the Blakemore Hotel, you are unlikely to be disappointed. The hotel is located in Bayswater, with Hyde Park on its doorstep, and many theatres, restaurants, shops and cinemas nearby. The great location also offers easy access to all of the capital’s major tourist attractions, such as Harrods, Madame Tussauds, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and Piccadilly Circus. The hotel has 3 newly decorated conference suites, the Drysdale Suite, the Keswick Suite and the Westlake Suite. All of the suites are located on the hotel’s lower ground floor, away from the main hotel area. All of the rooms are quiet, peaceful and air-conditioned, with plenty of natural daylight. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need for a successful meeting or business event and videos, projectors and overhead projectors are all readily available. The flexible facilities can be tailored to your precise requirements and the experienced and professional staff are available to help with every aspect of your event.

The Drysdale Suite is the largest of the 3 rooms and can accommodate up to a maximum of 80 people. The room comes with telephone/internet connections.

The Keswick Suite is smaller, but is comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate smaller-scale meetings. With natural light and air conditioning, this room is ideal for presentations or board meetings. There is a large oval table with a maximum capacity of 8 and the room also features telephone/internet connections.

The Westlake Suite features natural lighting and air conditioning and is able to accommodate small to medium-sized meeting. This room also has telephone/internet connections.

Restauració

The Blakemore Hotel has 2 fine restaurants.

The Wellington restaurant is located on the lower ground floor and is the hotel’s breakfast restaurant. Continental breakfasts are available, as well as a full English breakfasts. Whatever you have planned, a tasty breakfast is a great way to start your day.

Breakfast is available from 07:00 to 09:45, from Monday to Saturday, and from 07:30 to 10:15 on Sundays.

In the conservatory, also located on the ground floor, the Rossetti Restaurant offers a relaxing, tranquil and intimate atmosphere for an evening meal. The restaurant serves a variety of tasty, fresh home-cooked dishes to suit all tastes. Dinner is available from 17:30 to 22:30, 6 days a week. The restaurant is closed on Sunday.

The Rossetti Bar is located in the hotel’s lounge area on the ground floor. The bar provides the perfect environment in which to relax in comfort and enjoy a drink. You could also watch the bar’s newly installed giant plasma screen. Drinks are very reasonably priced and are served all day until 01:00.

Also within easy walking distance, the great shops of London’s Oxford Street and Bond Street are only about 0.5 miles (0.8 km) from the hotel. Buckingham Palace is just 2 miles (3.2 km) from the hotel. The Palace was built in 1703, by the then Duke of Buckingham. When George III became king soon afterwards, he liked the palace so much that he bought it, and English kings and queens have lived in it ever since.

Sencill però molt confortble, teniem tot el que necessitavem

Potser la varietat de l'esmorzar, hi havia dos tipus d'esmorzars, el continental que era el nostre cas no hi havia molta vaietat.

La situació

Les instal.lacions són velles, l'ascensor no funcionava massa bé i l'habitació donava a la part del darrera plena de bastides, se sentien els trens fins a la mitjanit i et despertaven cap a les sis i el parrupeig dels coloms era insoportable a tothora. Només hi havia un endoll, per la qual cosa si volies posar el ventilador no podies endollar el carregador del mòbil, per exemple.

La situació.

L'estan rehabilitant i pot-ser m'han donat una habitació antiga amb mobles antics amb una bany també per rehabilitar. Suposo que hi han altres habitacions ja rehabilitades.

La ubicació de l'hotel. Recepció 24h. Que hi havia per prendre tè a l'habitació (tot un detall).

Que no estigués inclòs l'esmorzar complet. Només anava inclòs el continental. (torradetes, cereals i cafè.). Pel preu podria estar inclòs.

The girls in the dining/breakfast room were extremely nice and helpful.

I did not receive a wake up call as requested and was late for a very important event. The desk mgr was short tempered. We were overcharged by 30 pounds at check in. It was later corrected. There was horrible construction noise in our first room. The second room was quieter but too small, hot water faucet did not work and the over sink light did not work.

An awful excuse for location as oppose to quality and comfort, this hotel is best summed up as a disaster.

cramped and very dated furniture, tired decor, with wash and toilet facilities that can only accommodate a person small enough to be an eight year old child.

Good they have a bar open until midnight and a pizza service. Very kind staff

Location was good for public transport

On first night there was no hot water or heating in the room, the telephone did not work & the wardrobe door fell off - after speaking with the Manger we were placed in a better room the next day.

Staff dressed smart and helpfull-good image for the hotel

Unfortunately due to work going on at the hotel-No hot water first night,TV reception-picture v.poor &water came through ceiling probably from shower room above.
