The Grosvenor Kensington Hotel London is an elegant hotel ideally located in Central London in the district of South Kensington just bordering Knightsbridge and to the south-east of Hyde Park. Originally a Victorian mansion house, this superior class hotel offers easy access to many local attractions such as the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Buckingham Palace and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The continental breakfast consisted of a buffet which had an excellent choice of food.

The hotel switched the heating off fairly early. I was out until around 11.30 pm and came back to a fairly cool room. There was inadequate bedding and I had to sleep in dressing gown to get warm.

Transportation is very convenient as it's just 2 minutes' walk from South Ken underground station, and less than 5 minutes' walk to Imperial College, where my destination is
