Located next to the Gloucester Road underground station in fashionable South Kensington the hotel allows for easy access to all London attractions. It is just a short walk to Harrods and the prestigious shopping district of Knightsbridge as well as Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, Earl's Court and Olympia Exhibition Centres and the Natural History Museum.

The hotel is comprised of five interconnected, beautifully renovated, Georgian style townhouses. All the rooms are air-conditioned and include an en-suite bathroom, laptop sized safe, work desk, telephone and more

Set in Kensington, London, this classic Victorian style hotel, which has been restored to its original charm, offers 117 rooms with a choice ranging from single to family rooms.

In addition, the hotel has recently refurbished their conference room. With its modern interior, choice of audio/ visual equipment and in-house catering, it makes an ideal location for small meetings or conferences (maximum 35 people).

Please note that the hotel is primarily non-smoking. Smoking rooms are provided on a request basis only and cannot be guaranteed.

Food & beverage

Kensington is famous for numerous pubs and a wide range of cuisines to fit any budget.

The bar with big screen TV is located just off the lobby, and is a perfect spot for meeting friends and relaxing over a beer or cocktail, either before or after your sightseeing, excursions, or business in London. Open 16:00 to late.

Area information

The hotel is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, 200 metres from Gloucester Road underground station.

The Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museums are 400 metres away.

Kensington Palace/Gardens (500 metres), Harrods and King's Road (both 1 km) are also within easy reach.

Staff are friendly and obliging

My room was next to a generator and was very noisy. The bathroom wasn't very clean on this occasion.

Absolutely fine for our purpose which was to find somewehre close to Albert hall. Excellect continental breakfast ,surpassed what I expected- lots of choice and no limit if hungry!.Rooms at back of the hotel were very quiet for London. Ventilation could be improoved ? Thanks you.

Accommodation was good value for money and comfortable. Polite and helpful staff

Breakfast - tables not laid, no service, continental buffet with limited choice in a small space with people arguing over the toast!! (Only one toaster)

Close to tube station, friendly and helpful staff, provided breakfast.

The room was cold at first but the staff did what they could to make it comfortable. Also, the drain in the tub needs to be totally repaired, not just fixed upon complaints.

Only location close to underground station.

Cold room. Turning the heater valve to 'max' made it slightly warm. No heater in the bathroom. Squeezing floor and doors. Cutlery during breakfast not clean.

How close it was to everything ...the tube, restaurants, grocery, etc.. The staff was very helpful.

Even though it was a non-smoking room it did smell cigarette smoke.
