The Salisbury, a hotel with 363 rooms at YMCA of Hong Kong is situated at the tip of Kowloon Peninsula with magnificent views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island. The Hotel is located in the centre of business, shopping and entertainment district of Tsimshatsui, and is adjacent to Cultural Centre, Space Museum, Museum of Art, Historic Clock Tower, Waterfront Promenade and Avenue of Star. It is within close proximity (2 minutes’ walk) to major transportation, i.e. Mass Transit Railway, Train Station, Bus Station and Ferry Terminal which accesses you to almost all destinations in Hong Kong.

This restaurant provides a sumptuous international menu selection from early morning to late evening. The restaurant boasts wonderful views of the famous Victoria Harbour.

Mall Cafe
Self-service style cafe. Selection of oriental and western cuisines. Daily set breakfast, lunch and dinner. A la carte menu for soups, sandwiches, salads and snacks. Selection of tea sets.

The Salisbury provides ideal venues for organising a wide range of banquet and conference functions such as seminars, conferences, tea receptions, cocktail receptions, birthday parties, wedding dinners and group theme parties.

There are various room types available at The Salisbury - YMCA of Hong Kong. All 301 rooms and 62 suites are spacious, clean and well appointed.

Due to the room size of approximately 250 square feet, or 23 square metres, the hotel suggests that you do not attempt to accommodation 3 people in a standard room, partial harbour view room or harbour view room. Bedding for these rooms are either one queen-size bed or 2 single beds.

For a family of 3 adults, or a family of 2 adults and 2 small children, the hotel recommends the Family Suite.

It was clean and a very good location

There was no bar and we didnt realise that the facilities would be used by local people as well as guests.

we stayed in a standard room first. it was ok and good value for the money but nothing really spacial. we stayed in a harbour view suite the last 3 nights. the views are incredible. layout of the suite is nice as well. definitely worth the extra money.

The convenient location for us to do what we wanted in Hong Kong.We chose a harbour view room and so were able to have a fabulous view of the heart of Hong Kong, the harbour, and the light festival every evening at 8pm.

The decor is a little dated, but not too important.

The position of the hotel in Kowloon was superb and the staff especially were all really excellent. They were all very friendly and helpfull, my room was was great and next time I will book a suite so that I can have a room with those amazing windows and view.

I will highly recommend the hotel to my friends as there was nothing that I did not like.

We loved everything about the Salisbury YMCA, especially its central location and proximity to the subway; the standard of its rooms; its excellent staff and the food at both the restaurant and the ground floor cafe (the best fried rice in the city).

The location is excellent. The staff were very helpful and professional.
The room was ideal for my needs.

My only slightly negative issue was with the built-in hair dryer in the
bathroom. With my travels, I have found that type of hair dryer to be
mostly ineffectual for its purpose. And the one in my room was no
exception.

Very handy to things I wanted to see/places I wanted to go.

Only thing I would do differently is specify a double bed if I reserve a twin/double room. My room had 2 single beds. And I like a double bed.

It's close to shopping area(harbor city mall), our room has a very good view of victoria harbour.. Room is very clean and huge... Staff are very efficient and helpful..
